Bi-Weekly Membership Meeting

February 12, 2025
Yesterday, we came together to discuss our projects for 2025 plan. We put the topics up on the wall. Went around the room looking for suggestions and timelines for each one. Very interactive and got a lot of suggestions from our members. We have currently, 14 volunteer members who have expressed interest in working with us on these projects. These are the projects below. If you would like to be part of any of these initiatives, please contact Debra at the office. This is open to members and non members alike. “Bring a Friend”
.Indigenous mentorship, communication with city and rcmp, safer hwy 6, membership recruitment, member surveys, workforce issues, transportation actions, airship testing, tourism strategy, new business workshops, thompson BOLD, citizens on patrol, move liquor mart, safer downtown, advocacy, restart a newspaper.

Annual General Meeting

Yearly in March.

At the annual general meeting, elections are held for the President, 1st Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and up to eight other members. If you would like to join our Board, please contact [email protected]

Our AGM for 2025 will be held this year on March 19, 2025. It will be a luncheon event at RiverView Rest. Starting at 1:30pm we will have lunch and then begin the meeting.
Cost of lunch will be $35.00 per person which includes buffet lunch and one non alcoholic beverage.

Northern Chambers of Commerce gather to discuss events and policy resolutions that pertain to northern Manitoba. Meetings take place 2 to 4 times per year based on issues to be discussed.
